Vor der Staatsgründung war die israelische Gewerkschaft Histadrut ein Organ der im Entstehen begriffenen jüdischen Gemeinschaft und nur in zweiter Linie Arbeitnehmervertretung. Dies änderte sich nach dem Krieg von 1967, als Zehntausende von nicht-staatsangehörigen Palästinenser*innen aus den besetzten Gebieten dazukamen. Die Liberalisierung der israelischen Wirtschaft ließ die politische Macht der Gewerkschaft jedoch tendenziell erodieren, wodurch die Vertretung der palästinensischen Beschäftigten gestärkt wurde. Im weiteren Verlauf nahm die Bedeutung von Histadrut als klassenbasierter Akteur zu, und zwar auf Kosten ihrer ausgrenzenden, ethnonationalen Rolle. Wir diskutieren, welche absehbaren Perspektiven es für diese beiden widersprüchlichen Seiten der Gewerkschaft seither gibt.Downloads
