Abstract

In the course of the last decade, there is an increasing awareness about water disputes in Third World regions as prone to international conflict. Thc issue is highlighted by reference to the most heavily argued case, the Middle East. In conclusion, ecological issues are treated as a new item on thc agenda of international politics, with reference to pertinent developments.
