Repressive Toleranz und der "Pluralismus" der Oligarchien

Abstract

Tendencies of increasing repression and surveillance are described and different theoretical approaches of explanation are discussed. The author concludes that as an answer to growing social disintegration a development can be found, which leads in the direction of a decision making oligarchy behaving to the rest of the society in a way, which can be characterised as repressive tolerance.
