Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is part of a series of technological narratives that promise genuine innovation, but in reality are by no means able to initiate the significant change processes associated with it. As »empty innovation«, these narratives nevertheless have an impact on organizations and their way of thinking about change: Innovation itself replaces the value of developing solutions to real problems. But this shift comes at a high cost.
