Abstract

PROKLA 215 discussed both political principles and technical issues of economic planning. But the concept of labour time accounting, especially in the sense in which it was presented by the Group of International Communists (GIC) in 1930, was largely left out of consideration. A theory of decentralised and working timebased planned economy on the basis of self-managed companies could make the various problems of democratic planning visible and at the same time gain fundamental characteristics of a political economy of socialism.
